Beginning on Oct. 14, our school will be using SafeArrival to report student absences. SafeArrival is designed to make it easier, faster, and more convenient for families to report absences and late arrivals.
With SafeArrival, there’s no need to call the school and leave a message. Instead, you can quickly and securely report your child’s absence in one of three ways:
Using the SM Home App: Download and install the SM Home app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Online: Visit home.schoolmessenger.ca.
Phone: Call the toll-free number 1-844-478-2598 and follow the prompts.
Further detailed instructions are available on the OCSB website.
There various forms of communication on information for parents about activities, general information, report cards and important dates. To receive messages from the school, please follow this link to School Messenger and the instructions on how to sign up and update your preferences are listed. To view report cards, update personal information , and access your student's profile, please login to Parent Portal Login and view the steps on how to access the application. Dear St. Brigid Alumni,
Your elementary school memories helped shape who you are today. St. Brigid has celebrated its 100th anniversary since its establishment in 1924. Now, you can help create those same experiences for today’s students!
Your donation will directly support our students’ educational journey, enhance new learning resources, improve our playground, and strengthen our athletics programs. Every contribution, big or small, makes a lasting difference in helping our young learners grow, play, and thrive.
For a tax receipt, you can donate through the School Cash Online. You do not need to register for an account or have a student enrolled. Instructions are provided in this document: School Cash Online - Donations Instructions.
If you prefer to send a cheque, to receive a receipt, you must make the cheque payable to the OCSB, not the school. It would need to be sent to the Board office with your personal details, so that a tax receipt can be mailed to you later. This process generally takes about a month.
Let’s continue the legacy of learning and community that began here. Together, we can ensure our school remains a place where curiosity, creativity, and kindness flourish.
